about

"This happiness consisted of nothing else but the harmony of the few things around me with my own existence, a feeling of contentment and well-being that needed no changes and no intensification." Hermann Hesse (1877-1962)

Looking around days as they seemingly hurry to dwindle in pace, evaporating along with all its given joys - the laughter of my children exploding through time and I try, in best, to collect as many of them as possible. The joy of friendship and simple things - a good book, a surprising meal, familial visits - pass through as in a race. We wade through them with the wisdom of age, knowing every moment will past and be cherished one day, cried about.
